Why don't you just louver the hood and leave the lettering. Everyone I see with louvered hoods always shave the lettering. Never seen one with.. Be different.. Then again, I'll never see truck unless you post pics. LOL...

I don't believe the 67 GMC has any letters on it. The 68 has less letter holes than the Chevy does.

Other than it started life as a fire truck I do not know Much history on it Planning to put them on in future |
