Front Leaf Q

Hi suspension gang........

I just bought a 69 Blazer that is a bit too high?

Is there any easy/cheap way of lowering front ride height? I think it has front lift leafs in it...........it measures 41" from the ground to the highest part of the fender lip.......

Leafs are a 3 stack with out much arch....there is only 5" between the bump stop and the u-bolt/axle area.

The rear is a couple inches lower w/ a 2" block.......so that is pretty easy......

A few months down the road, this fall probably, I intend to put a newer 2wd front crossmember in, and dump the Dana and the leafs...

But in the interrum, I'd like to bring this beast down a little, so my wife and kids can get in, and I don't practically split my pants every time I have to hoist my ass into the truck!

Any thoughts?

I thought of flipping the leafs to reversre the arch....but then the fat leaf will be on the top.....that does not seem right.......

Then I looked at putting the leaf under the axle.......but that won't work because of the pumpkin housing on the pass side is in the way.....

The shackles do not look as if they could be any shorter either.........

Hmmm...

TIA!

guys will flip the leaf pack over or put the axle on the bottom of the leaf pack to get lift.

Sounds like factory springs w/ an add-a-leaf on the bottom. Take the bottom leaf out should only have 2 anyway. The block was in the rear to level it out.
