Rear shock mount location question

Good afternoon all, I was down taking a look at the crossmember I installed this weekend and noticed something weird. The driver side shock mount holes are closer to the frame rail on the driver side than they are on the passenger side as shown below. Is this normal? I am converting from a leaf rear end so I have no prior experience with this crossmember.

I can shoot you some pics when I get home this evening if no one replies by then. I know the pan hard bar connects in there somewhere too. maybe that's why its off. not 100% sure though without taking a look at mine.

Thanks. I'm just curious which set of holes is correct if they are not supposed to be offset to one side. I've got to remove the crossmember anyway to slot some holes, so poping in a couple of holes is no biggie.

This is just an uneducated guess but maybe the factory moved the right shock over for tail pipe clearance ?

Mine is 2 1/4 On the one side and the other side is at 3 1/4

Sounds like they all might be like this. I may line them back up when I install the shocks.

For shgrins, why not email GSI or another place that produces the top shock mount bars and ask if they offset as well before blasting holes in the parts.

Sometimes things are offset for vibration, or harmonics or whatever, but the exhaust clearance makes sense. But I could swear my factory tailpipe mount (still there) is on the driver side.

Good idea. I emailed Travis as AZ Pro to see what he thought as well.

I made upper mount brackets and relocated my shocks when I built my traction link kit. All four shocks (front and rear) are now the same. I used the short front shocks.

Thank you for the photos. These pretty much confirm that it is offset to the driver side a bit.
