Anyone running 275/40r18’s on front and rear? 1969 c10 swb

Just picked up a 69 c10 SWB and have been shopping wheels and tires until they all look the same, here is my question,

I know that 255/40r18 is a popular front size and 275/40r18 for the rear but has anyone ever ran a 275/40r18 front and rear? I'm looking at an american racing 18x9 set of wheels all the way around. Has anyone ever been successful or unsuccessful in this matter?

They don't make the wheels i want in staggered sizing and i don't know how it would look running a skinnier front tire on the same size rims.

As for suspension i am going Ridetech street grip and motor will be a 5.3 LM7 on boost with a 4l80e. Body is all original patina and rusty nuts.

Appreciate the information,

Hayden

Do you touch inner fenders? Where are the main clearances issues? Pictures?

Depending on backspacing, the front lip of the lower control arm will need to be trimmed for clearance.

Total stock! Front and back. No rub either wheel. I am very happy with them. Handling is much much better and rear grip is amazing!
