Anyone try the "Autosdepo" front roll pan?

Looks like a good price but I'd loke to see it installed before committing... has anyone used this particular piece?

I just got this. The product looks good. Of course no instructions. I had to "massage" the ends a little to get it to fit between the fenders, Of course that is probably fender alignment from the PO. There are no mounting holes on the upper flange but it wasn't hard to get those in the right place. The only mounting holes are on each end flange the would attach it to the fender. All in all I am satisfied.

Awesome thanks! Can you post a head-on shot to show the curvature at the point of the pan? Looks pretty good, I think I'll have to bite

The truck is nose in the garage so I can't get a good head on shot. And its 17 degrees and snow on the ground in Georgia (what the hell) so I can't take it outside. Its supposed to warm up tomorrow, I will try to get that picture.

Thanks. A couple weeks and I can heat the garage enough to paint.

Less weight than a bumper for a better weight balance. Looks cool. Thanks much for the pics, I think I'll pick it up and at this price I can hack some brake ducts into it without much worry!

I was a bit shocked when I pulled the bumper off how light it is. I doubt it would be much protection even in a minor collision. I think it looks like an afterthought rather than something really designed. After all these truck were utility vehicle back in the day.

Re: Anyone try the "Autosdepo" front roll pan?

I finally got the roll pan painted and installed. Pretty happy with the results. No clue how this is supposed to be installed but I sandwiched it between the grill and the radiator deflector and used the tabs on the ends to bolt it to the fenders. I am thinking about getting new stainless grille surrounds and headlights bezels but they are crazy expensive. The PO painted all that body color and it was not done well.

Re: Anyone try the "Autosdepo" front roll pan?

Yeah I like it! I'm going to weld mine in, and effectively make the front clip one-piece. I need to do a lot of work on the fenders before I do that though, so I will probably just bolt it in as you have in the meantime.

I got mine in the mail the other day, it arrived with a smashed end though. I'm going to use it to practice modding in an air scoop I think and then transfer the process to the replacement.

If I could weld I would have done that too. Bummer about the shipping damage, mine was perfect, not a mark on the box.
