Mine is Ms. Molly, I had a girl in High School that had red hair, I had a big crush on her, asked her out, she turned me down. so I named my truck that, because well my truck is red, and no one but me can have her. 87 vette named her ms. holly ryhmed, and because she loved to haul assy. Named my tacoma fred. slow like fred flinstones car. seems like you could get it going faster by cutting into the floor board and making it go my running.

we call my truck the beast or the green beast, even though its not much of a beast, may favorite is the snot rocket. we call my dads trcuk bertha, my sisters old car the turd. all these names came with time so maybe you just need a little more time to get to know your new ride

haven't named the truck yet, but the car's name is Betsy. Guess I got it from my old DI, who used to call all the old M37's "betsy". as in, "Come on betsy, you know you wanna start for me."

for some reason, I always have an easy time naming my b-bodies, but that is about it. my '89 Lesabre was the Red Bullet ( a nickname given by my friend David, who died about 2 wks after we graduated high school), my '89 Olds was teh Red Rocket (a play on words, both from the Olds logo, and a particularly funny episode of South Park), and now my '88 Lesabre is the Silver Bullet, and I need to get a Coors bumper sticker for it.

my mother refers to my truck as "Jane", my sis calls it "Sasquatch", and I call it "truck" or "GMC", depending on mood.

the other cars i have owned/driven were referred to as whatever 4 letter words werecoming from my mouth at the moment the car s broke down yet again.

If you ever listened to the Who - Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy.

Or

Fruck! (I just thought that sounded funny!)

Hmmm, I haven't really thought about a "nick" for my truck. "Money Pit" is usually what I refer to when I talk about it. The ex-girlfriends daughter used to call it the "Macho Truck" but it never really stuck.

As for the truck at the begining of this thread, I think it's screaming "Big Bad Beast"!
