removing rear coils?
so i undid the bottom bolts and the top bolts are spinning.
is there any trick to getting the coils out? do i just need a BFH or do i have to take out the top bolt too? looks like a pain cause the top nuts are inside the framerail.. thanks for any input!

you need to remove the top bolt and cup that holds it in. Then to be safe jack up the frame so the trailing arms drop to relieve the pressure from the springs to remove them.

yeah you have to unbolt the top to remove the spring

damn! i was hoping i could just spin them out!
yeah the frame is already on stands. i learned the hard way about not using them on the FRAME RAILS! lucky i didn't lose a hand or some fingers but only ended up with some stitches and a cool scar, but that's another story! thanks guys i better get back at it cause that doens't look very accessible or easy!

yep! that was the ticket! done deal! my new drop coils are in and the old pretzel heated ones are out! thanks for all of your help...ONCE AGAIN!!
