so I take it it's not turning over? Does it tick or make any sound at all? If so, you might have a bad starter or soleniod. If not, you could have a gimp solenoid, bad wiring in any part of the starting system or a bad battery (yeah, new ones can be bad too).

check all the wires going to the starter first. Get the battery load tested ( it can be fully charged and yet still be junk). If everything checks out fine with those two things, turn on your dome light and try to start it, if the light remains as bright as it was before craking then thre is an open somewhere in your cranking curcuit if the light goes REALLY dim or out then there is likely a short or ground in your starter. a good battery should only go down to 11 volts when cranking and a weak one will go down to about 10 volts or less. hope this helps

what kind of bettery?
Why was it replaced? What do the cables look like? Do the lights work? do they dim when you try to crank it? How old is the starter...and are there headers there? Is the truck in park? |

I usually check my starter with a voltmeter and check the voltage drop when it tries to crank. If it drops much below 9V, then chances are battery or starter is bad. From the sound of it sounds like you have nothing, so I'm not sure that will work.
On a side note, did you try it in Neutral instead of Park? Maybe the safety switch is funky.
