My vin has an H for where it was made. Can someone help me figure out what the plant is? Also I would like to know if it has the original motor or not? My vin is 4C144H159472 AND THE ENGINE HAS 5129742 AND V1121TXO. I'm having a hard time figuring it out. I have a 64 Chevy fleetside shortbed truck made 09/64. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not finding a TXO small block suffix code. Are you sure it isn't TXC?

Either way, since it has a 3 letter code, that engine is not original to your truck.

I've got a 66 C30 with a VIN # that starts with C383. Anyone know what body style this it? None of the online VIN decoders know what it is?

I can't find the info again, but it seems like those are the numbers for a C30 cab and chassis with the 157" wheelbase. If I remember tomorrow I will take a look at my '66 C30's VIN

I was correct in my thinking. My '66 C30's VIN starts with C3836 and is a cab and chassis with the 157" wheelbase. These typically had campers installed on them.

The cab and chassis trucks typically had flatbeds installed on them.
They were made into campers, but on a far less scale.

The number just before the Z indicates that it is a 1965.
