Intake Gaskets

This is for my 69 Camaro, I've gone through 3 intake gaskets in the past 2 years. Monday morning being the last.

Anyone know of a HEAVY DUTY set, not the cork stuff.
I run 7,500rpm at the track and a 6,000rpm chip on the street. I could swear I've seen rubber resuable ones on Horse Power TV but no local shops have a clue what I'm talkin about.

Corck intake gaskets I've never heard of them before. Even if you're referring to the front and rear rubber ones I hear most people ditch them and use just silicone. I usually use the rubber thing and a combination of silicone with it. I always get felpro.

Are there 1pc gaskets? or copper type gaskets? Yeah, the first time I used the front gasket supplied and it leaked at the corners.

Seems like anytime I take it over 5,500rpm it leaks a little somewhere on the intake.

Strange though, monday I was just in cruise mode. Stoped at a red light and noticed steam on the pass side, light turned green I started to go then the temp gauge shot from 175 to 215 and by the time I pulled over and turned it off it reached 235. Coolant all over everything.

Sounds like something is warped or damaged.

i dont think your problem is in the gaskets i think you intake is either warped or your head isnt flat where the intake mates to it
