Rear end leaks
Hey guys I have a question about the rear end of my 67 C10. I sandblasted it about a week ago and was just getting around to it. It has been sitting on jack stands this whole time and I noticed some oils seeping on the bare metalbut no drips. (See the attached photos). Is this normal? If not what are some ideas for repairing it. Thank You

I feel every think has a little sepige.The tubes are pressed in it dose happen.If your worried put some cocking on the tubes.its a truck.Its not a Super Bird

Your wet spots by the welds may be seepage, that could very well be. Same at the tubes, but they might just be oils coming back out of the joints/porosity that seeped "in" from the outside at some point and is now working back out. Either way, it's not much to worry about. Make sure you spray down with brake parts cleaner right before you prime and paint so that the paint sticks. Heck, the paint may be enough to seal it up.

The tubes are pressed in and plug welded. Seepage there is pretty common. On my Dana 44 it's more of a drip
 Many people will weld completely around the tube to prevent it from getting loose and to prevent the leakage.
