I'm confused on what you're asking. The diff between a 1967 rear-end and newer rear ends, or older?

The '67 rear ends will be Eatons or Danas, whereas the '87 rear ends will be GM Corporate axles. I don't think disc brake parts interchange, but I am probably wrong. You might be able to get the 14 bolt disc brackets to go on the Eaton HO52.

If you are dealing with a 1/2 ton, then the bolt pattern isn't the same...6 lug '67 verses 5 lug from 71 up to 87.
3/4 ton truck...same, although the holes for the wheel lugs are a tad bigger on the 71 and up. |
