VIN decoding
I have a GM dump truck I think mid 60's - early 70's,

http://www.americanclassic.com works on most rigs I've tried Sorry, just tried....wouldn't bring enough info up on it. I did a step van once and gave me a reading

C = Conventinal
M = V6 Engine 5 = GVW Series 03 = cab and chassis ordered Z = Fremont Assembly Plant 1 = 1971 rest is sequence number of the line 52381 Reads like a 1971 GMC C50 truck to me. And welcome to the 67-72 message boards.
