VIN decoding

I have a GM dump truck I think mid 60's - early 70's,
Iam having trouble decoding the VIN: CM503Z152381
can any one help??

M = V6 Engine
5 = GVW Series
03 = cab and chassis ordered
Z = Fremont Assembly Plant
1 = 1971
rest is sequence number of the line 52381

Reads like a 1971 GMC C50 truck to me.
