88-94 chev bench seat question Part 2
I bought a 93 blue cloth bench seat out of a suburban today. I am 3 hours from home , travelling on business so I cant try placing it in my truck, and I have a few questions.
1. Has anyone tryed using one of these seats with the original brackets off of the 72 bench seat, bolted to the bottom of the new seat? I took a 72 bracket with me to this wreckers, and to my amazement the holes line up in the front and back of the seat, to the 72 bracket. I dont know if they will fit lengh wise from drivers side to passenger side, but I hope so. 2. I am not sure if it is a drivers bench or a second row bench. Were they the same width in a suburban? I know that the 3rd row is smaller. It has a small armrest that comes down that is built into the back of the bench seat, right beside the drivers side right arm, it is not in the middle. It is kind of set up like a 60/40 split, with no actual split. Any install info on these that someone has done would be appreciated.
