Re: WTB or trade

I think it will work for both, there is an adapter with it. The model number is 454TD so it should be for a tall deck. Here are some pics:

Re: WTB or trade

Any issues with the manifold? What type of engine have you run it on?

Re: WTB or trade

Got it from a buddy who had it on a 454. I currently have it on a 1966 396, that has yet to be fired since rebuilt. I am going a different route with this engine. No issues that I am aware but I can give it a good one over. It is for a standard 9.8 deck, oval port.

Re: WTB or trade

Check it out, if no issues I would be interested in some sort of trade.

Re: WTB or trade

I looked it over last night. All the threads look good on the carb, distributor hold down, and t-stat housing along with all bracket bosses.

Hows this sound, I'll ship you my intake, I will include cash/check for return shipment. If you like it, ill pay shipping for your intake back to me.

If you dont like my intake, you package it back up with my cash/check, and you pay for return shipping on my intake?

I noticed on another thread you were looking for bench seat sliders. I have the remnants of a 72 that I cut for parts. I dont know the condition of the sliders ( probably won't till this weekend) but if they are decent I will pull them and package them with the intake. You can keep them either way.

Re: WTB or trade

That sounds great. Just let me know when you ship it so I know when to expect it. I will PM my shipping address, which will be my work. I will then let you know when I receive it.
PM sent.

Re: WTB or trade

I dont know how soon ya need this but it might take me 2-3 days to get my other intake prepped and swapped on to the motor. I dont want to leave a fresh built full roller 396 wide open with all the fab work I have going on in my garage currently.
