62 c20 step notch placement question
Starting to mock up my welderseries step notch on my 62 and I was wondering if I need to just center it up over the axle or push it a little forward (I think?) to compensate for the arc of trailing arms. The notch is only 3 1/2 inches wide at the top so not a ton of room for error.
Thanks! |

Re: 62 c20 step notch placement question
You definitely want to set it forward. You can calculate the forward movement or use a piece of string on the ground to replicate the movement.

bumping a old post. I know when slamming a truck the wheel isn't centered in the wheel well. can I center the step notch up in the wheel and slid cross member back to make it look better?
