Wipers run at high speed for either position of switch
So today I went to use my windshield wipers and found that when I turn the switch to either the low or high position, the wipers run at high speed. Did a search on the forum and found Loc Doc’s write up:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=413551 It looks like to run at low speed, two motor terminals (1 and 3) get grounded. If there is a fault in that ground circuit to terminal 3 the motor will run at high speed regardless of switch positioned at high or low. Sound right? In you experience where is the most likely place to start looking? The switch? Motor? Bad connection somewhere? Switch is easiest to access so maybe I should start there.

Kinda what I thought too. I have two other switches I can swap with and see what happens.
