CPP front shocks M1200G

Installing some front shocks from CPP M1200G. The lower shock bushing is to wide for the lower shock mount on the frame. Did I order the wrong shocks? or can the bushing be trimmed up?

Thanks,
Ramiro

Spread the mount to get it in. This must be your first time installing shocks.

My son tried spreading the mounts. Still couldn't get wide enough to install the shock. Called CPP and they said to trim up the poly urethane bushing.

Yeah, when I have to install shocks on these, the mounts need to be spread pretty far. Even when reinstalling the same shocks to the same control arms.
