70 c10 project
This is a 58k pickup with some serious rocker rust. it does have a 4 bolt main high compression 70 small journal 350 though. so I had the motor pulled and a high performance rebuild done on it. it currently has the biggest cam avalible that is still semi-streetable and a noisy gear drive. I had the rockers/floor braces/partial floors/cab corners repaired. I have a 650 road demon, 700-R4, and blacked out grill surround/grill/headlights, front disk conversion, brake booster, lowering springs, and cool billet aluminum dash and glove box on it. it's been striped by Ripley's Old Skool of Olatha, KS. I have an under bed gas tank and a behind the tail light fill just waiting to go on.

Nice work. It's amazing how all of these trucks rust in exactly the same areas!

Re: 70 c10 project
So I had some things done to the old girl: I had a billet aluminum dash and giove box door done. I had a beefed up 700R4 in with a deep pan, 4.5/5” drop, 5 lug conversion, disk brakes in the front, converted to power brakes, and the 18” Riddlers.

Re: 70 c10 project
Then I had a 71-72 grill shell powder coated. Bought a black billet 72 grill, and moved this turn signals behind the grill. Put LED turn signals on the core support.

Re: 70 c10 project
Yesterday we replaced the stock fuel pump with an Edelbrock HP, we put a Holley regulator on it, and a see through fuel filter.

Re: 70 c10 project
So about 2 months ago we replaced the Edeljunk with a Speed Demon 650 (huge difference) we also replaced the OEM alternator with an internally regulated 105 amp Chrome one. The last few are cleaned up and show ready. We have a cruise this weekend. Sometime this summer plans include serpentine drive, aluminum heads, and Tuned Port Injection!

Re: 70 c10 project
The plan is 200cc aluminum heads, 68cc combustion chambers, 2.02 valves. A modified TPI manifold. Polished aluminum exhaust manifolds. Should be pretty spiffy when we’re done!

Re: 70 c10 project
it had 333882 heads. that’s a 1.94 intake, and a 76cc combustion chamber. The heads I’m putting on it have a 2.02 intake, 200cc intake runner, and a 68cc combustion chamber. Quite the upgrade!

Re: 70 c10 project
Modifications will include a 58mm BBK throttle body, airfoil, Bosche 24lb/hr injectors. The upper plenum, lower intake and runners are getting gasket matched and pocket ported. Then the runners are being resized to stage III. Then to finish it off a BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator to up it to 50psi

Re: 70 c10 project
So I started off with the bare heads, then put chromo pushrods in it, and topped it off with aluminum roller rockers.
