sport mirror question? 72 vs 73 up
my question is are the 73-87 mirrors the exact same as the 71-72's ?
I am looking for a pair to install on my nos doors on my 78 blazer and wanted a correct pair,. thx in advance. dave

I noticed there are two different sport mirrors. what years did they change from one to the other? one is stainless and other chrome?

I have had and replaced both. The 72 have 2 screws on base to hold on door and are right/left specific. My 74 has only 1 screw in base and will fit left or right. You can use either one unless you want model year correct. I don't think too many people will notice the difference.
