They make benders. Here is a NAPA know how article on bending lines.

Re: Any Tips Or Tricks On Bending Brake Lines

no offense but didn't see much useful info in that napa article..

try searching 'how to bend hydraulic tubing', here's a couple I found quickly;

Tube and pipe basics: How to achieve the perfect bend

Bending 101

having been bending heavy wall, high pressure hydraulic tubing for over 25 years, I can suggest a couple of things..

invest in good tools or don't bother as the results may no not impress you..

practice, practice, practice.. try your hand with scraps or small runs first to see if you have the skill..

some folks can pick it up and make nice solid tubing runs, others can't..

if you've got the knack, continue challenging yourself and upgrading the tools to meet your skill level..

I have some pictures of some of my work around here somewhere, always enjoyed tube bending projects

bent .120 wall .625 SS for Navy Seal Mark V transport trailers for C17 / C5, 7200 psi hydrostat control plumbing, various motion bases for amusement rides including hpu's for jurassic park at universal, etc.

I'll add more later, good luck!

Re: Any Tips Or Tricks On Bending Brake Lines

I bought a roll of heavy gauge copper wire and used it to map out tight turns and difficult routings.

Then used it as a guide to bend the tubing.

Go with NiCopp and don't fear the bending anymore
