Re: Spare tire in bed or under bed?
I ended up putting the spare behind the wheel tub on the driver's side. No matter where I would have put it, the camper shell blocks visibility, anyway.

The truck also has the under the bed spare tire hanger,so I don't use the one in the bed. So,I took the bolt and parts out and put them somewhere in my shop. There is a thread here just on the correct hardware if you search for it. Or maybe someone will bring it back up for you. Mike. |

Re: Spare tire in bed or under bed?
It's a truck! Are you really worried about weight transfer at the drag strip? OK, sorry, it's been quite the day here at the SteeveeDee homestead. I just needed to let off a joke.
