I could not get away from drive line vibration with my old two piece so i decided on this go around i would do whatever it takes to go to a 1 Piece (QA1 carbon fiber) driveshaft......so i started cutting and bending metal....heres where we are at

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

I test fit my mock up engine and TK0 600 5speed, and set the LSA blower on....its going to fill up that engine compartment very nice!
I went through several sets of headers trying to find some that fit, these are from Ultimate Headers and man are they SICK they sent them to me tacked together so we could test fit them then i will send them back and get them finish welded and fully polished...they look like jewelry when they are polished out!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

I started a kind of step by step install of the Altman Easy Latches from Trique Mfg, i was so sick of slamming my doors, i cant wait to get these finished up!
Very easy and detailed directions for the install. I couldnt finish this up just yet i need the truck off of the lift to easier access the door jamb.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

last night i started working on another of Cloud 9's problem areas. The self leveling Evercoat drip rail sealer that we used had started cracking, it made me worried that some rust had came up from underneath. I had personally cleaned it out the first time and i knew that the metal was perfect underneath. Turns out it is still perfect so i have no idea why it cracked out. I also had a couple bubbles come up in the cab corner area, i guess there must be some tiny pinholes in some of the weld spots?

Going all the way! Please tell me you’re sticking with the same color

I like the firewall, assume the lines are bead roll? They look better with a little bit of detail, instead of completely flat, in my opinion. What’s the price on a set of those?

Mike... I have heard several issues with the Evercoat self leveling sealer... The best out there is the 3M part #08307...

This is what I used on Papa J...
