Do i need a seperate fuel vent?

Just got done installing a Boyed rear fuel tank. I patched in a newer style side fill door on my 1971 c10 lwb. I have one of the vents on the tank going to the fuel fill neck. will this work as is, Do I need a vented or sealed cap the way I have it. thanks

That should work as long as you keep fuel out of it while you are filling it.
