does the seat back flip forward on a stock 55 2nd series truck?

just got back from looking at a very nice seat in a 55 2nd series truck that was for sale....the back of the seat does not flip forward....crap!!

Some folks weld or bolt the seat back so it can't fold forward. The idea is to reduce potential injury in a crash, especially if they are using lap style seat belts.

sorry guys...just pulled up images of 47-54 truck seats and there it was...the seller insisted it was 2nd series...must have been 1st
