LWB and LONG horn FRame

I would like diagrams of all the mounting points and measurements for the LWB and longhorn frames where can I find downloadable versions of these?

Thank you
Michael

What are you wanting to do? The wheel base for the (LWB) measures 127 inches and the Longhorn wheel base measures 133 inches. The core support and cab mounting points are the same for the two but the Longhorn bed is 6 inches longer so the mounting for the bed is a little different....

I also bought a new Log bed yesterday and tried putting it on the long horn frame and of course the mounts for the bed doesnt line up so I need to figure out how to correct everything because it seems the longhorn frame also has a longer section of frame past the rear axle then a longbed.

LockDoc
Well I bought a custom c10 extra cab on a c10 chassis with a 144 inch wheel base. I bought a c20 longhorn frame with disc brakes. I am going to lengthen the frame and add a factory LWB bed to it instead of the weird bed they have on the custom truck. I need mount info frame specs so I can figure out a game plane before I start the project

Re: LWB and LONG horn FRame

You need the 157 WB(...or so). That looks like a cut long bed you have there.

It's posted here on this site. It's a ton of the factory service manuals. There should be one there that has the frame info for your truck.

Michael
Yes, I'm interested to see the dimensions as I had noticed it looked longer than a short. What is the total length? (measurement of bed floor)

Guys, if this turns into a want to buy/trade/for sale thread it will be closed. You both need to be paying members before that can happen. If you click the on the word "Subscribe" in the menu bar above it will explain the different subscription options....

Thanks,
LockDoc

Re: LWB and LONG horn FRame

Ok. It seems we could discuss it and then get the proper membership if an agreement could be reached, but no biggie.
