A/C question

Is there an A/C system from another vehicle that can fit in a C10? I did a search, and came up with nothing. I'm wanting the whole system, inside, and out.

Re: A/C question

Depending on the year, you can get the complete system out of another truck. If you only have a heater, you'll have to cut a hole in the firewall to enlarge the one that the heater-only setup has. If you buy a kit, you may only have to punch a couple of holes for the AC lines. I put AC in my '56 Chevy wagon with all junkyard parts, so anything can be done. The names of the aftermarket companies escape me at the moment. I'm sure that someone will come along and fill in the blanks.
