Quick Question

Is there supposed to be a gasket between the oil pump and the block on a 250 six? New pump didn't come with one and there wasn't a gasket on my parts 250 engine that I think is untouched from the factory.

Re: Quick Question

As soon as I posted the question I opened Santucci's Six Cylinder Power Manual and there is a template for making the oil pump gasket but its not mentioned. I'm assuming the factory doesn't require one but Leo thinks its a good idea?
