What kind of paint could I use to paint a ramhorn exhaust manifold?
Thanks |

VHT makes some real good paint, but you have to read the instructions...if cured properly, it'll even hold up on headers for a while.

POR15 makes a product just for manifolds and headers. I just did a set of manifolds and it turned out great. I haven't fired the motor and can't say how it will last, but most of their products have a great reputation. I bought the small can, 8oz, and it could probably do 2 coats on full length headers. I have 3 coats on a set ramshorns and hardly used any.

I second this statement, I did an exhaust for a 250 and it turned out nice. |

I painted mine with High Temp Factory Gray paint from Eastwood. I just applied it with a foam brush. It's been on for two years and it still looks good. It's a little expensive but from judging how much I used to paint two manifolds a pint will probably paint about 20 pairs.

I've used the VHT paint on a number of sets. I drove one car 150,000 miles and they still looked good when I sold it.
