Plastic or Bronze Hatch Hinge Bushings?
I'm replacing the bushings and pins on my hatch hinges. The old bushings (which I believe are original) are plastic (just like I found in the doors when I did those).
1) Should I go with bronze bushings in the hatch? (Shouldn't corrode or get stiff being exposed more than the door hinges?) 2) From pictures I've looked at, I think the pin heads should be on the outside on both (driver and passenger side) hinges? I'm using Napa 675-5143 which includes bronze bushings.

I'm certain that the door hinges should have bronze bushings. Not sure why yours were plastic. I believe the hatch hinges should also be bronze based on my experience.

Hatch hinges were plastic but the bronze will work just fine. I've never seen the plastic ones offered in any kits if you found some can you provide a link.

The plastic bushings I took out of the passenger door are still useable, but not great. I'll go with new bronze then for the hatch.
