Re: Exhaust down pipes

I looked a long time for these when I did my truck. Ended up ordering a set from Waldrons Exhaust in Michigan. They have to make them, and there is a waiting period. You have to order the set for a 396 truck to get the 2 1/2" pipes. They also only had the pattern for a long wheel base truck, so I had to cut them off before the up and over at the swing arms and adapt them to another exhaust system I used for the rear which was 2 1/4". This was the only answer I found.

Re: Exhaust down pipes

I was assuming that you were going to run stock exhaust manifolds.

Re: Exhaust down pipes

Found these on Amazon, not a bad price considering that they're Stainless Steel. https://www.amazon.com/Pypes-Exhaust...down+pipes+BBC I would just go to my local muffler shop and have them bend you up a pair. They can flare the ends and provide the three bolt flanges as well...
