Thought I would post pics for you guys to see.

I have been posting all of my progress pictures in the Suburban/Panel board, but I thought I would post these here too for you guys to see. I installed a 59/60 Impala dash then had the gauge bezels copper plated and installed Dakota Digital VHX gauges. What do you think?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I saw that kit on Ebay

What I'm trying to say in a rather sarcastic way is you have conceived and executed a true one-off concept that has cumulated into an amazing success.

Nice! I’m thinking you’re not ready for the “patina” look anytime soon.

Re: Thought I would post pics for you guys to see.

How are you going to keep the copper from turning colors ? I'm guessing there is some type of clear coat for that. Looks good but could quickly become overwhelming.

Re: Thought I would post pics for you guys to see.

No patina here. LOL. Copper plating will be done on bumpers, grill hoops, headlight bezels, fender eyebrows, hood edge molding, hood letters, center of wheels, and door handles.

I use to be an owner operator of a highly polished peterbuilt truck. Polishing isn't that bad.
