Moog ball joint on cpp upper tubular

I have brand new moog upper ball joints that were going into rebuilding my old set on my 1968 c10. Ended up buying cpp's upper tubulars. Uppers are new from cpp but would like to put my new MOOG's in and use cpp's as back up. This is a frame off and since I've heard nothing but good about MOOG i want to start off with them. QUESTION is do i put the MMOG ball joint in as recommended by MOOG (from the top) or put them in like CPP does theirs (from the bottom)
thanks for any help

Re: Moog ball joint on cpp upper tubular

I would say to do it the way CPP recommends. They designed the control arm, they know the geometry. Might call or email them and ask them to be sure.

Re: Moog ball joint on cpp upper tubular

Why not just leave it the way it is and use the moog as backup? I have both moog and cpp suspension/steering parts and they are both good quality..
