Whose good at identifying 67-71 and 72 doors?

..... Without seeing the dimple lol.

I made the trip to check out my other cab I was going to use for a build to make sure it was solid, but ....... Completely forgot to look what year doors it had. I didn't get a picture of the inside panel to see if the dimple was under the vent window. These terrible pictures of the edge are all I've got. They're uncut, solid, and never been patched, and I was going to order everything that goes inside them tonight so I could just replace everything on my 67 (cut for speakers and inners need rebuilt). I can try to leave work early again tomorrow, but I'm impatient. Can anyone tell anything from these holes for how the panels attach??

I even was trying to talk myself into (or out of) a decision based on how far the shaft stuck out, as I think 72 had thicker panels.

Grumpy long time no talk, sir! Hope all has been well

Alright I just went to check them out again.
Only the passenger side had screw hole under the vent window. Do I have two different year's doors here?

I'm unsure now if I should use my 67 rust free doors with huge hacked holes for speakers or these which are really nice, possibly reproduction though.

You should just send me those 67 doors with the big ol nasty speaker holes ...

if you have rust free 67 doors use them .

Lol! Someone cut for a 6x9. It's covered with a carpeted lower panel now.

Do you guys think I have different year's doors??

My 67 doors are solid as can be, the cuts just bother me

You can patch the cuts easier than finding doors and yes you have different year doors .

Yes, the one with the screw on the interior side under the vent window is a 72 and the other is pre-72.
OOPS, sorry - missed your post flashed.

Re: Whose good at identifying 67-71 and 72 doors?

Thank you guys very much.

I'm going to run the 67 doors then, and probably just patch the bottom portion when I buy new guts for the insides of them.

Eventually I'll just sell the other cab.
