Wiper arm stock color?

What color are the wiper arms and hardware supposed to be
Do they match the color of the truck or did they come zinc plated?
Trying to keep the stock look.

I never paid much attention, but I believe mine are, and always have been black.

I took note of the hardware, but not the finish, though I'm pretty sure they're phosphate black. I can look if necessary.

I seem to remember mine appearing to be a semi gloss black. If my truck weren't 2000 miles from me I could check. Big help, huh?

The screws on my 72 are body color, but the truck was painted post factory, they did a lousy job. Come to think of it they were body color on my 71 as well, and that was a cheap paint job too. So couldn't tell you, but I suspect you're right, it would match the transmissions. I had the hardware black zinc plated.

I found this picture that clearly shows them as being black. I am 100% certain that they have never been tampered with.
