Control arm bushing question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I think I answered my own question but why on earth do these all in one bushings and casings not fit from LMC? It seems like they are supposed to be welded in place of what my arms have now.

Can I pull the bushings out of these cases or should I send them back?

Send them back and buy urethane replacements that use the old sleeve already in place , The one you have in your hand is the replacement if you want to press the old sleeve out and press the new sleeve/ bushing in . in .

Damn, thanks for that! What I waste 😂 same bolts should fit the urethane replacements right?

Yes, same bolts. I recently did mine. If you're having trouble getting the rubber bushings out, hose them down with PB Blaster and let them sit for a while. I used a large C-clamp and a couple pieces of flat metal to press the old ones out and the new ones in.
