Floormat
Read several reviews but who makes the best repo floormat. Saw that brothers has their spring sale going on and has them marked down 50$. Thought about picking one up. I know it wont be as good as the original ones but need something.

Re: Floormat
That's not a bad price. Wish I could tell you who makes a good mat but I haven't found one yet. FWIW, my last rubber mat came from Brothers. It started falling apart after four years. Good luck.

Re: Floormat
I have had my share of junk from LMC but the mat I bought from them is almost 9 years old and is still in great condition no cracking or rot yet. I was just in the truck cleaning up up the floors and sills..

Re: Floormat
I have no knowledge about the quality of their floor mats but I highly recommend checking out "The Truck Shop" in Orange CA and also in North Carolina. I've been ordering parts from them for the last few years. They ship fast, are knowledgeable and almost always have better prices.
I have no affiliation with them, but almost always get my parts from them. |

Re: Floormat
I've been tempted to get a mat, to cover the rust holes. LOL

Re: Floormat
My LMC mat started coming apart after only a few years. Definite junk. I used the floormat rug from a Circle K store for years. Put a hole in the ''K'' for the shift lever. But even that started decomposing. I think if I tried powerwashing it it would dissolve.
Has anyone tried the MIP [molded injection polyvinyl] mat? Not sure if it's even availble anymore.

Re: Floormat
The MIP Poly Vinyl floormat is all I will use . Have one in my 72 that is about 8 years old and cleans up like new , its black . I just ordered a Blue one for my 70 for when it comes home soon from getting rust repair . These cover the complete floor and are very thick . Made by ACC .

Re: Floormat
The vinyl floor mats are awesome. I purchased directly from ACC. One recommendation is to do it on a very hot day. Set the mat in the sun, soften up and then install.

Re: Floormat
Just bought the MIP from LMC. It’s thick.
Wish me luck with the installation.

The rubber Mat from Cooper Restoration fits great and wears well.

Re: Floormat
38-2937 for high hump. 38-2936 for low hump. Page 96 of current catalog. 1/8 thick industrial polyvinyl. It’s heavy stuff and should last.
The downside is it has to be laid out in a warm place for a couple days to lose the creases etc from being in the box. Garage isn’t heated.

Re: Floormat
Looks like the MIP mat is the same price as carpet and only $30-40 bucks more than their self-destructing rubber floormat.
