This is not that far from Hot Springs, where the The Gangster Museum of America is located.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
So not just a '55 Cadillac, but looks like an El Dorado Barritz with continental kit. Probably was the doings of some gangsters.
Land open to enjoy like that is precious

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Larry ,, how far from Russellville ? Or Clinton ,,I might be flying back that way this summer or next .. Only in Arkansas would a car like that be left alone when first put in the place it is..not touched .. I say that from talking to the old timers in this country as they are just happy playing fiddles Banjos and Mandolins or sittin on their back porch just a swinging..

The hood and most of the continental kit were long gone.

Other Larry says {{{With all the talk of FB on here lately, it occurred to me we needed a forum where we could air our every movement and emotion of the day. My title doesn't make any sense, but I thought since this is a truck site, we could air our personal lives to other truck owners. So just let it all hang out. Tell us stuff we don't need or want to know. Tell us if your dog is constipated or your heart has been broken five times this week. Ask for references for a cheap brain surgeon. You get the picture. I will start with breakfast @ the Davis house #needs biscuits and hash browns to be good. I had a couple of prunes also, so I will update you on that outcome about 11:30 AM central.}}} I will add that I do not have a dog that is constipated,,, but ,,, I am excited that my son from Washington State will arrive here in April 6th and begin helping me with the Led lighting x-change on my 39 Chevy ..

Re: My Facetruck thread.
This is a true story and if you are faint of heart,, best you go on to another posting..
This is a completely true story that happened while I was cutting firewood with my son, Hunter last fall. We were both running chainsaws. About 8" inches of nice white snow lay on the ground and we were cutting up a dead tree. I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked at Hunter who had a strange look on his face... Very worried he motioned for me to shut off my chainsaw and then said "are you ok? " Uh ... yea why ? "Your bleeding pretty bad" WHAT ? I ain't bleeding "There's blood everywhere" ... and it's not me he said. We looked around and about that time ... a **** off Squirrel had run up on a branch with no tail ... we had chainsawed right thru his cozy home and that squirrel went crazy and ran up on a limb then turned and looked at us about 10 seconds. ....and jumped into another tree and scurried off. Hunter says to me: where do you think he's going ?" I looked at him with a straight face and said...Probably into town ... to the ... Re-Tail store found this on my old car forum

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Boog ,,sorry ,,getting old I guess...If I ever get back down to your Arkansas ,,I would like to meet up with you and the other Larry .. Remember,,, that I lived not far from you in Possum Grape when a young kid working in the rock crusher up the hill from that little spot along the highway .
In all honestly I have to take care of the wife and so this being for sure is iffy ,,but if I ever do I would invite anyone who could make it for a round up of guys and gals from this forum .. I believe Leon is only about 500 miles away and Tim is free as the wind ..maybe some day there will be a song about all of us here on this forum ,,sorta like "Hillbilly Heaven " by Tex Ritter.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I am kidding Larry. Your reply double posted just like Tim's have been randomly doing. Yessir I remember you telling me you once lived at Possum Grape, just up the road. I wonder how much that town has changed since you were there.
You take care of the family my friend. I'm sure we will all be together one day.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
The burglar broke into a house and was looking around with his flashlight when he was startled by a voice, "Jesus" is watching you."
He pointed the flashlight toward the sound and all he saw was a parrot in a cage. He asked, "Did you say that.". The parrot, "Yep.". The burglar said, "Who are you to tell me Jesus is watching?". The Parrot, "Moses". Burglar, "Who names a parrot Moses?". "The same people who name a Rottweiler Jesus."

Re: My Facetruck thread.
A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Texas, and talked with an old rancher. He told the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs."
The rancher said, "Okay, but don't go in that field over there.....,"as he pointed out the location. The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, "Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!" Reaching into his rear pants pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. "See this badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish.... On any land! No questions asked or answers given! Have I made myself clear.......do you understand?" The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores. A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull.....With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs..... "Your badge, show him your BADGE........ ! !"
