1970 OE steering wheel install
Hello All,
I am in final stages of returning my 1970 to OE status, with a lot of oem reproductions. The truck had a late model blazer steering wheel on it. I have ordered the repo steering wheel center cap and the K137 horn cap /steering wheel mounting kit form Classic. Will I need to source anything else or should these items get it done? Thanks so much Dan |

You will need these parts. There are two different metal cups for the horn assembly. The '67 and '68 cup is 1" tall and the '69-'72 is 3/4" tall. Make sure you get the correct setup for your truck.

Re: 1970 OE steering wheel install
Thanks for response. I will be back to work on the truck this weekend, I fear I do not have the piece on the top left of your pic. Any ideas on best place to get one?
Thanks Again. Dan |

That would be the turn signal cancel cam. The horn contact is integrated into it also. You need to double check and make sure this is the one you need. https://www.classicparts.com/1967-72...ctinfo/27-241/ LockDoc
