Cruise control question
Can you tell if this is a complete cruise control here in the engine bay? I have no idea what Im looking at. Picture in my gallery ... thanks!
I feel like it might be an aftermarket set up. Nothing on the stalk, and a funny looking button that says cruise master http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...hp?photo=45724 Last edited by CG; 03-26-2019 at 04:45 PM. |

Re: Cruise control question
What year truck and what interior switch type is yours - system looks like 71-72?
maybe this will help - Cruisemaster setups: 1st pic is 69-70, 2nd pic is 71-72. Somebody can chime in on which year had the dash mount push button, I'm having a senior moment. Last edited by jocko; 03-26-2019 at 06:51 PM. |

Re: Cruise control question
Thanks for that info on the switches. I thought this was factory/dealer when I got the truck, and then was told probably aftermarket add on. Then I saw some NOS switches and I don't think they looked like mine. So I was really confused after that.
When I remove it Ill have to be super careful I don't damage anything. |

Re: Cruise control question
Most valuable part is the underdash switch. Be careful with that during removal. Take good pics of everything.

Ill have to look at some pictures of switches here on the board and see how they come out. I wonder if it snaps in? Bet the plastic is a little brittle after all these years. |
