Hood Pins
Has anyone installed hood pins on a 67-68 truck? I have an intercooler that is in the way of the stock hood latch. I MIGHT be able to do some serious custom work to make the latch work but I'm thinking hood pins might be an easier option at this point.
It seems like the shape of the hood combined with the placement of the core support doesn't lend itself well to pins though. Anyone done it? Got any pictures? |

Re: Hood Pins
Use a bear claw latch and just fab the catch with a remote cable you solve 2 problems and avoid hood pins altogether .

Re: Hood Pins
if you do go to hood pins check out this company https://www.quik-latch.com/. I've used these on a few projects and really like the way they look and work.
