Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
The washer jug gets removed and replaced with a little different style to the opposite side. If I Recall Correctly.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
Someone will probably post up a few pics...and there are a couple of minor things.
One thing is that the regulator (if you still have one) gets moved from the rad support onto the new battery box....which is pretty easy to do. Coley

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
I just added one on my diesel dually, but I do not have a voltage regulator or the washer fluid bottle.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
Here is a couple of pics I dug up this weekend when I installed mine. My ‘67 radiator support didn’t have most of the holes, so I had to drill 3 holes to mount it.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
One with what was said to be factory wiring. I’m not doing that on mine. I’m going to run a large battery cable to the positive side and probably run the ground down to the frame on mine.

This was said to be out of a low mileage survivor truck.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
I don't have one, and I'm obviously no expert. However, here are 4 threads that may help.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
Awesome thanks. Passenger side washer tanks must be rare as the white moose

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
I’ve never seen one, but knowing GM, it could very well be from a Buick, Olds, Pontiac, Cadillac? that has a driver’s side starter.

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
I've got a number of threads on this as I tried to get it "right" down to the correct reproduction batteries on each side, as my truck had both DUAL and HDBAT options, so had to figure out what that got you...
I've got a number of teardown pics of my original, so if you need info, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Re: Auxiliary battery boxes
I have a washer tank on the passenger's side. Currently using it as a coolant overflow.
Not sure if it was factory or not. My truck did come with factory dual batteries. I don't have a drivers side tray, and the regulator was mounted to the firewall. When I got the truck, the second battery was in the bed. I found the original dual battery wiring (relay that hooks into IGN UNFUSED) in a box of stuff I removed with the bed battery.
