Billet Specialties Speedways or Ridler 695

Hi all,

Narrowed my wheel choices to 20 inch x 8 inch all the way around and either the standard Boss 338/Ridler 695 in the grey or the Billet Specialties Speedways in polished. The Speedways in polished would be about $250 more. My truck is the same metallic blue as the 3rd one shown.

So the question - Ridlers or Speedways?

BTW - I know I can't go wrong with either wheel - both look awesome. Also, none of these are my trucks - they all look awesome!

Got no responses so here's what I went with. I got Billet Specialties speedway. 8.5 x 20 with 4.75 back spacing on all 4. Tires are all 255 45 20.

I like your choice the best. I also like the two tone paint.

Re: Billet Specialties Speedways or Ridler 695

Thx. Just did paint. The white is factory white and the blue is Nassau blue or bright blue metallic. Got some orange peel but wt sand and buff will fix that!

Looks great and I like the size of tires with the wheels. Do those wheels hide your front caliper?

Here is a picture just before paint. For the most part it hides calipers and drums in the rear.

I did the same size wheels all the way around because I'm gonna daily drive it and want to be able to rotate tires.

My vote would have been Billet Specialties anyway! They look great and are a nice change of pace in my opinion.

Re: Billet Specialties Speedways or Ridler 695

I think they are a great option for looks and price point.

I did have a problem when I had one of the tires mounted to test fit for size and make sure no rubbing was gonna happen. When I got the tire/wheel back the face of the lip had some scratches and the center cap was dented.

Advice - remove the center cap before dropping off to tire shop and also let them know/warn them to not scratch rim.

For 250 more the billet specialties brings a lot more than riddler or boss ever will can’t believe that was it.

Re: Billet Specialties Speedways or Ridler 695

OARNGESI - I bought them from Billet Specialties for $275 a wheel + shipping. Jegs did have a sale on them a little while back for free shipping. I think the ridlers go for around $235 ish + tax/ship. I still love the look of the boss 338/Ridlers but yeah for a couple hundred more they look a lot more expensive. Very happy with them. Can't wait to get the rest of the truck put together and go for a "legal" ride with lights, a seat and door latches instead of tape to keep the doors shut!

Here is a shot of what the rear wheel looks like. You get a little glimpse of the drums behind the wheel. I need to still pull the drums and paint them black and I think they will hide even more.

You made the right choice!Looks perfect. I'm sick of those Ridler style wheels.
