67 C10 Frame Vin Location

Where on the frame of a 67 c10 would I find the vin #? Thanks.

Don't know if it would hold true for a 67 but on my 71 4x4 there is a partial VIN number stamped on the left frame rail top near the power steering gear box. Have also heard a partial VIN is on top of the frame under the cab but never had the cab off the frame to verify that.

Hope that helps. Before I found the VIN # I had to clean and scrape a fair amount of crud odd to even find the metal frame rail, LOL.

Mine 67 K10 VIN # is located in the same location as your 71.

Its stamped in two places on my ‘67 SWB C10. One near the steering box and the other underneath the cab. Both are stamped on top of the frame rail. Only a partial Vin number, (7S166478)
