Source for Cylinder Head bolts for 292?

Would like to replace my cylinder head bolts on my 66 292, but cannot find a source anywhere? Are these even available? I'd prefer not to use ARP studs (for cost and appearance) and I'd prefer to not reuse my original bolts.

As long as the threads in the block and the bolts are still good, those bolts can be reused. It's only those late models that require the torque and then an extra bit of a turn that can't always be reused, because they have been stretched. What is your concern?

The truck sat for 25 years with neglected cooling, the amount of rust and garbage I flushed out was staggering. I haven't pulled the head yet, but I'm concerned that the bolts that threaded into the water jackets were compromised. I'd prefer to have new bolts handy vs trying to source them after the head is off. I'd hate to have to do this job twice...

Bummer. The threads in the block may need heli-coils, then. Something to consider.

When I rebuilt my 250, I used ARB head studs, which are much better than head bolts. Got them from Summit Racing.

Likely the route I will go...just dont like the non-original appearance. However, it will make it easier to reassemble the head onto the engine.

And they have better clamping power so you are less likely to ever have a head gasket failure. They also claim to make the block stronger is a few key areas that are prone to cracking.

Give your local Chevrolet dealer a try. If they are not in stock they can usually get them from a central warehouse in a few days. I've gotten parts from Chevy for old cars a bunch of times.

Update: Got all the bolts out and they all look great, sitting in rusty cooling jackets for 25 years didn't appear to hurt them. Thankfully. Thanks for all the responses!
