Door measurements needed

I’m having some issues with one of my aftermarket doors (worst decision ever purchasing them - junk)... Regardless, I’m stuck with them at this point. The gap in the top of the door opening where the vent window and side glass passes through is wider on one door vs the other. I didn’t even bother installing the felt or rubber scraper on this door as it probably won’t touch the glass. I had read where someone cut the brace from the inner to outer skin and pinched it together and rewelded the brace/tab. It is fairly easy to get the movement needed just by squeezing by hand.

Could someone get a few measurements from the inner to outer skin in a factory door without the felts or rubber installed from front to back. Basically x distance from front corner of opening is y wide in about 3 spots. It would be greatly appreciated. I didn’t complete the other door either but it certainly isn’t as bad. Would rather get the measurements from a good factory door.

Re: Door measurements needed

If you could take a picture and mark the locations it will help getting your question answered. Just to make sure you get the correct information

I took a leap and just went for it. My welding pro was available and had everything with him. Thanks anyway.
