66 C10 Stepside Bumper Brackets

I have a set of bumper brackets.
So which is front and rear?

For chrome bumper setup.

I had the longer ones in the front and they stick way out beyond where the 2 center frame supports are located. i am confused now.

the top picture are the rear bumper. the longer bracket with 4 holes has a relief to clear the rear bed mounting bolts. They only will go in and fit one way.

I have recently seen one thread on here that shows pictures of the rear brackets.

What is the length on the brackets in the bottom picture?

The length of the front brackets are 22.5 inches

Possibly i mounted to wrong bolt hole on the frame??

Sorry for the poor pic’s. I hope it gives you a bit of an idea. Im pretty sure I loosely bolted it onto the bumper and rotated the bracket up to the hole. If you have installed power steering you will have to trim the top corner of the bracket so it will fit.
