do I have enough rear power?
I am wondering if the 1/2 ton rear end that I have right now will be enough to have a large camper in my LB. I have leafs as well but is it enough?.....cause I wish to pull a boat behind at the same time as well.....if I was to upgrade to 3/4 leafs and rearend, how would this be on my milage?....or would it be the same....I know I have to swap axles if I want 5 lug.

I would suggest a newer Corp-14 axle. I am using a 79
They are bombproof. I have run thay for 20 years with no problems. The 3.73 is the best ratio. On a 2wd the spring pads will line up, but you will have to change the shock mounts. You will end up with 8-lug wheels. Get some 16 inch rims and rum 265 R 70 16 tires and you will be a happy camper.
