Carb Question

I have a holley carb.

I am going to install a quick change for the vac secondary springs. Is it easier to do on the truck or to pull the carb?

Any tips on this would be helpful.

pull the carb off, that way if you drop something, you wont lose it and it would be much easier not being bent over the fender
