72 C10 Lug Nuts
Bought a new set of 20 inch rims for my 72 C10 and the current lug nuts that are on my truck are to thick to get a 3/4 socket on the nut because the wheel hole is to narrow. What style lug nuts do I need so I can get the wheels installed? Thanks. Any links would be great.

Re: 72 C10 Lug Nuts
Probably from the people that designed the rims without a large enough hole

Re: 72 C10 Lug Nuts
Look for spline drive type lug nuts. I bought a set of 32 for my C20 from Amazon for about $26. A lot cheaper than the auto parts store

Re: 72 C10 Lug Nuts
warning, 72 C10 lugs are short, Aluminum wheels are thick.
Highly advise you check thread engagement, mine only had 4 threads holding them on. I replaced all my lugs on my 72 C10 with longer studs and new lugs. |
